Vision Express Summer Placement Academy (VESPA)
This is a 4 week work experience placement which is in place to provide you with the opportunity to gain loads of practical experience whilst allowing you to start developing your knowledge of the Vision Express brand and business before commencing a Pre-reg Optometrist position with us. During your placement you will have;
- A comprehensive induction into our business.
- The chance to earn yourself preferential entry onto our Pre-reg Optometrist programme.
- An invaluable revision course designed to prepare you for your final year ahead.
- Fun team event (it's a surprise but we think you'll like it).
Pre-reg Optometrist
Vision Express has limited placements available for VESPA, however, this doesn't stop you being able to join us as a Pre-reg Optometrist. So, if you're entering the final year of your degree our highly successful placement programme will offer you;
- A minimum 12-month placement.
- Comprehensive induction and training programme.
- A dedicated and experienced supervisor committed to supporting you all the way.
- A centralised Professional Services support team.
- Revision courses to prepare you for those all important exams.
- A guaranteed position if you successfully complete all elements of the programme (subject to location).
If this isn't enough then we'll also take you out on a social event with all of your Pre-reg Optometrist colleagues. It's a great chance to network and get to know everyone.
